Bradford Festival and Routes to Peace 2014

We have a very busy weekend in store….why not join us? Here are the things you can come and get involved with tomorrow and Saturday with the Peace Museum and friends!

Friday

Tomorrow 13th June 2014, 12.00 – 1.00 pm – The BIG Routes to Peace Sing in Centenary Square with our friend Roger Davies and a few hundred young people! Followed by the even bigger community sing – all welcome! Plus Poppy and Songs for Peace workshops – the latter with singer song writer Roger Davies see http://www.rogerdaviesmusic.com/ (workshops now full).

Saturday

Poppy workshops at the Alhambra Theatre – War Horse and Bradford’s own ‘Spare Parts’….. 1.00 – 2.30 pm. Photograph shows real ‘War Horses’ leaving Bradford by train to travel to France and Belgium in 1914 never to return. Wonder if Spare Parts might have been one of them?
