Special Exhibition Event
Saturday 2nd June
2pm – 3pm
The Etiquette of the Arms Trade: ten years drawing in arms fairs is a temporary exhibition at The Peace Museum by artist and activist Jill Gibbon. For the past ten years Jill has visited arms fairs in Europe and the Middle East, by masquerading as an arms trader with a suit, paste pearls and a sham business. Once inside, she draws and collects complementary gifts. The exhibition explores the etiquette of the arms trade through drawings, gifts, and elements of her masquerade.
This is a unique opportunity to view the new exhibition, meet and speak to staff.
Free, drop in event. Everybody welcome.
The exhibition will run from Friday 13th April until Thursday 28th June 2018.
