Previous Exhibition: A force for peace? The History of European Cooperation

This exhibition featured a newly acquired 1919 copy of the Treaty of Versailles, objects relating to the League of Nations, the UN, and explored the development of the European Economic Community, which became the European Union. It provided information on the British referendum on Britain’s continued membership to the EU and presented arguments from both sides.

The Treaty of Versailles is now on permanent display in the Responses to Conflict gallery at the museum.
