A Piece of Peace Gallery Openings

Wednesday 1st August, Saturday 4th August, Wednesday 8th August, Wednesday 15th August, Wednesday 22nd August, Saturday 25th August, Wednesday 29th August – 11 am till 3 pm

Come and explore our new temporary gallery and events space at 60 Kirkgate, Bradford. Free family activities and three exhibitions, including The Etiquette of the Arms Trade: Ten Years Drawing in Arms Fairs by artist and activist Jill Gibbon, Ending War, Imagining Peace: Germany 1918 and the new Pieces of Peace: A History of Peace in 20 Objects.

Every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday – Summer Holiday Activities

From Wednesday 1st August until Friday 31st August

Family and children’s activities 10am till 4pm. Group bookings welcome, visit our website for more details.

Monday 6th August

12pm till 3pm – Hiroshima Day

Join us and Yorkshire CND to commemorate Hiroshima Day. A vigil will take place at Norfolk Gardens, followed by a reception at our pop up gallery A Piece of Peace, at 60 Kirkgate, Bradford.

Free, drop in, all welcome.

 

Saturday 18th August

11am till 3pm – Paper People Exhibition Special Event

An opportunity to visit the museum on a Saturday and view the Paper People exhibition. The Paper People public artwork will be on display in City Park, Bradford.
