Bradford and World War I

Look out for a really useful book about  World War I, with an emphasis on how this influenced life on the Home Front, particularly for women and children. It is part of the national Great War Britain series, it is supported by The Peace Museum and published by the History Press.  Forward by our Chair of Trustees Dr Clive Barrett. This particular book focuses on the Bradford Metropolitan District. The book has been researched and written by Peace Museum supporter and colleague. Dr Kathryn Hughes, who was an advisor for the background information included in Choices Then and Now. Find out more here Bradford and the Great War.
