Love Bradford Day
The Peace Museum was proud to be involved in the LUV Bradford world record attempt on Thursday 15th September. The day saw 2,331 Bradfordians join together in City Park to break the world record for the world’s longest chain of people making heart shaped hand gestures. The event was aimed at bringing people together, to build local pride and raise money for the Lords Mayors Appeal: children’s mental health charity ‘Young Minds’. The previous World Record was held by a chain of 1,936 people from a steel production business in Japan.
It was a lovely day with lots of businesses and organisations present with stalls, free food and drink and plenty of activities.
