Year 9 pupils from Challenge College, Bradford, took part in a workshop led by Bradford-based artist Zareena Bano at The Peace Museum on 9 February 2011. The workshop explored the graphic design, symbols and slogans used in peace campaigning posters from 1930 to the present day, drawing from the museum’s considerable collection of posters.
The Peace Museum’s exhibition Visible Voices: The Art of Women’s Protest at the Pop Up art space in Bradford in January 2011 was a great success and drew more than 500 visitors in its three-week run .
