Peace One Day 2012
Happy Peace Day from all of us at the Peace Museum. “Peace Day is a ceasefire and non-violence day…..but it’s not just about war between nations, it is also about the violence in homes, communities and schools and towards our environment. As such it relates to every human being on the planet.” Jeremy Gilley – founder of Peace One Day What have you done today? We have been busy working with an older people’s focus group (BMDC) and Freshers from Bradford University’s Peace Studies Department……focusing on our work, publications and exhibitions, all of which reflect the Peace One Day vision and relate to ‘every human being on the planet.’ See http://www.peaceoneday.org to find out more about the International Peace Day, action and celebration 2012.
